Client was a protester accused of battering a state senator. Tons of press as a result — including write up in New York Times about acquittal. Defense was that client was innocent.

Interconnected small town politics led to my client, prominent professional, being charged with stalking a government official. Jury came back in 18 minutes and said the only reason it took that long was they wanted to talk about how the alleged victim should be prosecuted. Several jurors hugged my client and apologized to him for what he had been through.

Man charged with three counts of 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child under 12 was found not guilty after a week-long jury trial. The jury deliberated less than one hour before agreeing with the Defense that the child was only a victim of a custody struggle and was manipulated by his mother, but that he was never sexually assaulted.
Sexual Assault; Second Degree
College student was charged with three counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault and one count of Battery. On day three of jury trial, the Judge dismissed one count of Sexual Assault because the State could not meet its burden. After four days of trial, the jurors took less than 30 minutes to find him not guilty of all charges.
Homicide; Negligent Operation Vehicle
Mother charged with three counts of felony Vehicular Homicide and one misdemeanor charge of Reckless Driving, found “not guilty” on all charges by a jury, after just two hours of deliberation.
Felony Murder; Armed Robbery

The other 4 defendants charged in companion cases were all eventually convicted and served time in prison for their role in the events, but Attorney Aaron A.
